πŸ’œ Employee Spotlight: Melissa Davis, LTSS Worker πŸ’œ

We're proud to highlight one of our newest Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) workers at Wi******er Department of Social Services.

Melissa helps older adults and individuals with disabilities access nursing facility care or community-based services, and guides families through what can often be a complex process.

Behind every application is a person, a family, and a unique situation. Our LTSS workers provide compassion, knowledge, and support while helping some of our community's most vulnerable residents access essential care and resources.

Thank you to Melissa and our LTSS staff for your commitment to serving Wi******er residents and making a difference every day!

🌑️ A Hot Car Can Become Deadly in Minutes 🌑️

As temperatures rise, it is important to remember that a car can heat up dangerously fast, even on mild days. Never leave a child, vulnerable adult, or a pet unattended in a car, not even for a few minutes.

πŸš— Look Before You Lock:
βœ”οΈ Check the back seat every time you park
βœ”οΈPlace your personal items in the back seat as a reminder
βœ”οΈKeep your car locked when not in use and store your keys out of children's reach
βœ”οΈ If you see a child alone in a vehicle and believe they may be in danger, call 911 immediately

One moment of distraction can have lifelong consequences. Let's work together to keep our children safe this summer.

Awareness save lives. Help us protect children in our community by sharing this post and spreading the message about hot car safety.
