🌳📚 Storytime at the Park was so much fun this Wednesday. 💛
We enjoyed reading Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon along the Tale Trail and talked about being confident, proud of who you are, and standing tall no matter what. Such a wonderful story with an important message. 🌟
After the story, the fun continued with sidewalk chalk masterpieces and lots of bubbles floating through the park. 🎨🫧 It was a beautiful morning filled with smiles, creativity, and time together outdoors.
🐢 Next Wednesday, the Park Rangers from Tim’s Ford State Park will be joining us for Storytime. You won’t want to miss this special visit and all the fun they’ll bring along.
We hope to see everyone next week. ☀️📚

⛏️📚 What an AMAZING Summer Reading Kickoff📚⛏️

Thank you to everyone who came out to help us begin our 2026 Summer Reading adventure “Unearth a Story”. We had an incredible day filled with fun, learning, and community connections.

💛 The Friends of the Library for their continued support of our programs and community events
🐢 The Tims Ford State Park Rangers for bringing animal pelts, sharing their knowledge, and introducing everyone to Thor the turtle
🍽️ Tessa Sober Living for generously helping feed our visitors
🎨 Courtney Hudson and Zoey for showing off their amazing face painting skills and helping add even more smiles to the day!

We are excited to share that over 100 people signed up for Summer Reading during kickoff day. 🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us, laughed with us, explored with us, and helped make the day such a success. We cannot wait to continue uncovering stories and adventures all summer long. ☀️📖

The Friends of the Library will also have drinks and candy available for purchase as a fundraiser, so be sure to stop by and support them. 🍬🥤💛
