The city has a new certified water/sewer operator. He states the free chlorine water systems can look milky during high temperatures because warm water causes dissolved air to form tiny gas bubbles. This harmless effect is called aeration. The gas escapes quickly and the water turns clear again from the bottom up. It is completely normal and safe to drink. To speed things along the city will be doing more hydrant flushing.

We will be running a 1 day delay the Labor Day week. As a reminder, we reccommend to please set your trash the night before, as with the recent heat indexes we may run some routes a little earlier than normal at times or have drivers assisting with routes.

Szymon Bookman Binger is a University student from Poland doing his summer exchange program here in Wi******er!
He has completed the necessary paperwork and obtained permits from the city hall to go door-to-door selling books to help families with education. He does not represent, nor is affiliated with, any school. This is a summer program to help him pay his way through University.
