Stride Program

On Friday September 18th STRIDE will be at tidalwaveautospa - 460 Bullion Blvd in Wi******er - as a part of their annual Charity Day. 50% of the proceeds from monthly comfy club memberships and single wahses will go to STRIDE as well as 100% of the TIPS! Come see us and share in the fun!

We had a great time at the Living Arts and Science Center today!!!! We learned about native Ky animals, food chains, adaptations, the Earth (planetarium show), and owls ! We even got to watch a dissection of a real owl pellet and got to make one of our own (a fake one- not made with real fur, feathers, bones)!! We got to meet some cool animals- turtles, snakes, several axolotls, fish, and a tarantula! We had an indoor picnic lunch! When we got back to Stride we had some free time in the gym! We love to play volleyball!!!!

We were able to finish our paper airplanes on Thursday!!! We had fun seeing whose plane could go the farthest!!!!

Thursday was our first official practice for our regional special Olympics bowling tournament coming up in October!!! We LOVE bowling!!!!!!

On Tuesday we had a great time learning some new Tai Chi movements with Todd, grooving to some of our favorite songs with Caroline, and funny stories and Lego building at the library!!!!
