What’s Happening in Wi******er This Weekend?🍻🧀

Downtown Wi******er is the place to be this weekend! Here’s a look at some of the fun happening around our community. 👇

🎸 Friday, June 12
Rock the Block returns to the Courthouse Square from 7:00-9:00 PM featuring Nightflyer, an Eagles tribute band. This free concert series is a summer favorite!

🍜 Amy's Asian Kitchen is hosting Saigon Night beginning at 5:00 PM.

🍕 Maka Mia on Main will be open serving pizza and ice cream while you enjoy the evening’s festivities downtown.

🧀 Saturday, June 13
The annual Beer Cheese Festival, takes over downtown Wi******er from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM!

Be sure to check out the attached festival map, parking information, and free shuttle service locations before you head downtown.

Start your morning at the Wi******er/Clark County Farmers' Market on Depot Street beginning at 8:00 AM, then make your way to all the Beer Cheese Festival fun!

A few Chamber members you’ll find along the way:

👕 Hamilton Brooks Design will be hosting Bluegrass Silver & Co. and will have their exclusive Beer Cheese Festival shirts available.

☀️ Vitale Derm & Aesthetics will be providing free sunscreen to festival attendees.

🤸 The Fly Witches Bungee Studio will be hosting local vendors and the festival’s first-ever Lactation Station for nursing mothers.

📚 The Clark County Public Library Bookmobile will be downtown throughout the festival.

⛳ Tee’d Off will be hosting their Closest to the Pin Challenge.

🎭 Looking for evening plans? Leeds Center for the Arts presents Shrek the Musical:

Last Friday, we celebrated the grand reopening of Rally’s and officially welcomed the iconic brand back to Wi******er!

Owner Robert Ruggieri shared that joining the Chamber was important because he wanted to build strong relationships within the community, connect with local businesses, and help spread the word about Rally’s return to the market.

Robert and his team are excited to once again serve the wonderful people of Clark County by bringing Rally’s unique menu, bold flavors, and familiar favorites back to Wi******er.

Chamber In Action📸

We were excited to celebrate a ribbon cutting for Clean Sweep Car Wash and welcome them as a Chamber member!

Owner Cody Sheeran shared that joining the Chamber was an opportunity to become more involved in the community and connect with other local businesses. He emphasized that Clean Sweep is built on the belief that when you have the support of your community, success follows.

As a locally owned business committed to giving back, Clean Sweep also presented a $1,000 donation to local athletics, with Britney Harper accepting the check on behalf of the program.

To celebrate their opening, Clean Sweep is offering FREE car washes until Monday, June 8th. Be sure to stop by, support a local business, and check them out!

Chamber In Action📸

Yesterday morning, Chamber members gathered at the Clark County Public Library for another great Chamber breakfast.

Director Angela Turner shared information about the many outstanding programs and services available right here in our community. From activities for children and adults to the library’s exciting new Bookmobile, the Clark County Public Library continues to find new ways to connect, educate, and serve residents throughout Clark County.

One thing that stood out is that today’s library is so much more than books. With a packed summer calendar and programs designed for all ages, there truly is something for everyone.

Chamber In Action📸

What a wonderful evening celebrating the grand opening and ribbon cutting of CDE Sanitation LLC and Rimar Electric LLC!

Owners Sarah and William Perry have built businesses rooted in family, community, and service. Rimar Electric has proudly served the area since 2008, while CDE Sanitation opened in 2022. Fun fact: “Rimar” is named after their daughters, Riley and Marly, while “CDE” represents their grandchildren, Callee, Dallas, and Eli.

When asked what being a Chamber member has meant to them, Sarah shared that the Chamber has allowed them to build trust and relationships throughout the community while connecting with other local business owners and learning from their experiences.

The evening was made even more special with the dedication of a memorial honoring former Wi******er Mayor Ed Burtner. The memorial incorporates historic bricks and materials from notable locations throughout Wi******er that he collected over time, preserving pieces of our community’s history while recognizing a leader whose impact continues to be felt today.

Thank you to Sarah and William for their investment in Clark County, their generosity, and their commitment to making Wi******er a place we’re all proud to call home.
