Spooky Season is officially here at STOP, and you all have definitely been keeping us busy!

If you’ve been hoping to spend a night at Randolph County Asylum this September or October, you might want to grab a date soon. We have only 3 overnight dates left in September and 3 in October. Every other overnight date for those two months is already booked!

That doesn’t mean you’re out of ways to get your spooky on with us, though. There are still overnight investigation dates available at Stone Mansion, Old Blackford County Jail, and Jim Jones Boyhood Church throughout Spooky Season. So if RCA doesn’t have a night that works for you—or you’ve been meaning to check another STOP location off your list—this is a great time to do it.

We also have our Halloween events coming up at Randolph County Asylum! We’ve got some fun things planned for this year, and tickets go live September 15, so keep an eye on the page for those.

And remember, an overnight investigation isn’t the only way to explore our locations. We offer private history tours and 2-hour mini hunts during the day as scheduling allows. Give us a call to ask about availability and get something scheduled for your group.

September, October, and even those first few days of November give you plenty of opportunities to spend Spooky Season with STOP. Whether you want to investigate all night, sneak in a couple hours of ghost hunting, explore the history, or join us for Halloween at the Asylum, there’s still time to come see us.

Just don’t wait too long. Judging by the RCA calendar, apparently everyone else is ready for Spooky Season too.

Halloween weekend is coming to Randolph County Asylum.

Games & Ghosts. Treats & Terrors.

On October 30 and 31, we're filling the Asylum with two days of Halloween events—with something for just about everyone.

On Friday night, test your detective skills during Game Night at the Asylum, or spend the night searching for spirits during our Public Overnight Investigation.
Or if that doesn't suit your tastes, on Halloween afternoon, we'll open the doors for Trick or Treat at the Asylum, free and open to all ages. Later that night, when darkness falls, our Halloween Ghost Tours combine the history of Randolph County Asylum with a few unexpected encounters along the way.

Four events. Two days. One very busy Asylum.

First of all, we want to start by saying thank you to everyone for their calls and messages asking if we were all OK and if the properties had been affected by the flooding. Everyone here at STOP is OK, and even more importantly, the properties are all fine too. Please keep everyone affected by the flooding in your prayers.

Next, we wanted to say that Spooky Season is rapidly approaching. Randolph is already almost completely booked for September and October. We do still have some overnights available and we will do our best to find dates/times for you if you want a day tour or minihunt.

That being said, if you want to get your spooky on, might we suggest one of our other locations? We have better availability for overnights at the Stone Mansion, the Old Blackford County Jail, and the Jim Jones Boyhood Church. We don't want anyone to feel like they couldn't fully embrace the season. . .
