🚨 Pool Closure Notice 🚨

Well… this isn’t the update we were hoping to share today.

The Wi******er Goodrich Pool will be closed for the remainder of today due to a f***l accident in the pool.

As frustrating as this is for everyone (including us!), the health and safety of our patrons comes first. We are following required cleaning and sanitation procedures before reopening.

As a friendly reminder, please help us keep the pool open for everyone by making frequent restroom breaks, ensuring young children wear properly fitted swim diapers, and changing diapers only in designated restroom facilities.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. We plan to reopen tomorrow during normal operating hours.

‼️Pool Closure Notice‼️

Due to a f***l accident in the pool, we are required to close for the remainder of today to complete the required sanitation procedures.

The pool will reopen tomorrow at 12:00 p.m.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we take the necessary steps to ensure a safe swimming environment for everyone.

The splash pad runs on a separate system, so it will remain open free to the public.

☀️ Splash Pad Update during Free Swim Week

With the extreme heat this week and the pool reaching capacity for much of the day, we’ve decided to open the splash pad to the public.

Our hope is to provide another way for families to cool off while waiting for pool capacity to become available, rather than standing in the heat.

This will remain in effect July 1 - July 4 while pool admission is free.

Please note:
• The splash pad will be open to everyone, even if you are not entering the pool.
• If the pool is at capacity, guests may wait outside the pool area or at the splash pad until space becomes available.
• If you choose to leave the pool to use the splash pad, your admission to the pool is forfeited and your spot will be given to the next guest waiting to enter. You are welcome to rejoin the wait if space becomes available.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to safely accommodate everyone. We appreciate your cooperation and hope everyone stays cool this week! 💙

🇺🇸 FREE SWIM WEEK! 💦

Thanks to the City of Wi******er, admission to the Wi******er Goodrich Pool is FREE all week through Saturday, July 4!

Please keep in mind:
• Admission is first come, first served and is available until capacity is reached.
• Outside coolers are not permitted.
• Personal Inflatable tubes, inflatable loungers, and similar flotation devices are not permitted.

Please see info below regarding tonight‘s event!

Weather Update: Monday Mental Health Teen Night along side our friends Chasing Sunsets Inc !!!

Due to the unusually cold weather this evening, we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s Monday Mental Health Teen Night for the safety and comfort of everyone attending.

Instead, we will be hosting a special one-time combined event with Mom Monday on June 29th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Wi******er Goodrich Pool. This combination is being made solely because of the weather and is not a permanent change to either program.

We are excited to bring everyone together for an evening focused on:
💙 Mental health awareness and resources
🏊 Water and swim safety education
🤝 Community connection and support
🎉 Fun activities, refreshments, and a great time together

Our goal is to create a welcoming space where teens and families can learn, connect, and enjoy a positive evening in a relaxed environment.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we navigate the weather. We look forward to seeing everyone on June 29th for this special event and again at our regularly scheduled Teen Mental Health Pool Party on July 27th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
