☀️🌳 What a wonderful morning at the park! 🌳☀️

Our first Playgroup in the Park was a huge success, with more than 55 friends!!!

There were smiles everywhere as families explored sensory tables, shared books, and created beautiful watercolor paintings on mini canvases. 🎨✨

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this morning so special, and a special thank you to Farmers State Bank & Trust Co. for sponsoring this event. 💚

☀️ Sensory play has been a big hit at the library, and we’d love to keep adding to our Water Days and outdoor play supplies this summer!

We’re currently looking for:
• 5-gallon water jugs
• Water play toys
• Bubbles & sidewalk chalk
• Other outdoor sensory play items

🌞 What a FUN first summer Story Hour! 🌞

Today we took Story Hour outside for sunshine, creativity, and messy summer fun! 🎨🫧🌸

The children created beautiful flower masterpieces using paper plate flowers and recycled egg cartons as paint trays each child got their own painting station! We love finding creative ways to reuse materials while making art! ♻️💚

After painting, we cooled off with water play and foam fun before enjoying popsicles together in the sunshine.

Thank you to all the families who came out today and made our morning so special. Seeing the kids laugh, create, and play together is what summer at the library is all about. 💜
