❄️Significant winter storm coming this weekend, with 8 inches of snow or more for a large portion of the area. The I-64 corridor, including Louisville, Lexington, and Frankfort, are expected to receive 12-15+ inches of snow over the weekend. Less snow, but more significant ice amounts, are forecast for south-central and southeastern KY, with 0.25-0.50 inch of ice expected. These dangerous ice amounts will likely lead to prolonged power outages! Major impacts are expected across the entire region. Finish your preparations as soon as possible.
