Did you know we regularly offer blood pressure clinics at the Meals on Wheels Tuesday/Thursday luncheons?

While we’re there checking in on our community, you might also catch our Assistant Chief at the piano creating a moment that even our four-legged visitor didn’t want to miss.

If you’ve never stopped by, we’d love to see you there. RSVP for a lunch here: https://www.hcmow.org/community-dining-

This Valentine’s Day, skip the chocolates and do something bold. ❤️🩸

Join us for a Valentine’s Day Blood Drive on 2/14 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Wilton Collaborative Space, 21 Gregg Street.

Whether you’re donating for someone you love or just because it’s the right thing to do, one donation can support multiple patients in critical moments. One hour. One poke. Serious impact.

Walk-ins welcome. Bragging rights included.

Each year, more than 350,000 people experience an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Most happen at home. Many are unwitnessed. Nationally, survival is about 10 percent, and each minute without action matters.

Those numbers explain why so often we leave these scenes quietly, having given everything we can.

Last night, we recognized a moment when the chain of survival held. From the activation of 911 to bystander CPR, to coordinated response across dispatch, police, fire, and EMS, each link played its role.

We are thankful for, and honored to recognize, the dedicated responders whose training, professionalism, and coordination made this outcome possible.

Big thank you to Seven Hills NH at Crotched Mountain School and Village for the generous donation of two sensory care bags.

These bags will be placed on each ambulance and include items designed to support patients who may need extra assistance with sensory regulation and communication. We appreciate the thoughtfulness behind this donation and the continued support of organizations that help us provide more inclusive, patient-centered care in our community.

We are BLOWN AWAY by the generosity of our community. Our food drive is now officially closed, and together we donated a total of 640 items. The breakdown is listed in the flier, but the takeaway is simple: you showed up when it mattered.

Let’s not let the momentum end here. Both the Open Cupboard in Wilton and SHARE in Milford accept donations year-round, and the need for support is higher than ever. If you have the ability to give, please consider doing so.

Thank you to everyone who contributed. You made a real impact.

Donations continue to come in and we are SO very thankful. Reminder: food drive will continue until November 30th! Greatest needs are shelf stable items, canned items like veggies, fruits, and protein, baby food items, as well as hygiene products like soaps, dental items and feminine care.

Let’s keep this spirit of giving rolling through November!

HERE TO HELP WITH HUNGER

Hunger isn’t always visible, but it exists right here in our community. Many local families are struggling to keep groceries on the table. No one in Wilton should have to choose between paying a bill and buying food. When we show up for each other, that choice disappears.

We are teaming up to collect non-perishable food and essential household items for SHARE and the Open Cupboard Pantry. Your donation will directly support families in Wilton and surrounding towns.

Thank you to everyone who contributes. Every single item makes a difference.

If you have questions about the drive, need help finding resources, or have a specific need, please contact:
emsadministrator(at)wiltonnh.gov or 603-654-2222

Drop-off Locations:
• Wilton EMS
• Wilton Police Department
• Wilton Fire Department
• Wilton DPW

Together, we can help ensure no one in our community goes hungry.

Wow. Just wow. In one week, YOU ALL have all stepped up in a BIG way, donating over 340 items to our community food drive. To say we are blown away is an understatement.

I was going to take a photo of all your donations on the stretcher, but it wouldn’t all fit!

The first wave of donations was brought to Share and Open Cupboard this morning. Let’s keep this spirit of giving going! Our food drive will continue until November 30th, with our black-and-yellow collection bins located at WPD, WFD, WAS, and Wilton DPW.

Specific needs mentioned to me this morning include canned/shelf-stable foods, juices, and one item that is often forgotten: toiletries! Specifically, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, soaps, and feminine hygiene products are ALWAYS in short supply.

Thank you again to all of those who have contributed so far!
