🚧 Roadway & Right-of-Way Safety Reminder for Wilton Residents 🚧

The Town of Wilton reminds residents that keeping roadways clear is essential for public safety and efficient road maintenance.

Please do NOT place the following in or near the roadway or right-of-way (ROW):
β€’ Grass clippings or leaves
β€’ Snow from driveways or sidewalks
β€’ Garbage cans (outside of pickup days)
β€’ Basketball hoops or other objects

Grass clippings and yard debris can create slippery road conditions and contribute to storm drain blockages and flooding. Snow pushed into the roadway can create hazards for drivers and interfere with snowplow operations. Other objects placed near roads can obstruct visibility, create traffic hazards, and pose safety risks to both residents and maintenance crews.

Let’s work together to keep Wilton roads safe, clear, and accessible for everyone.
