Today, on Labor Day, we celebrate the hard work and contributions of workers in our community and across the country.

The Mayor’s monthly column — “With Gratitude for the Hard Work That Sustains Our City” — delivers the message that your work matters and Wilsonville is a better community because you are part of it. https://bit.ly/mayors-message-sept26

Please note that City Offices, Library, and SMART are closed. Have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Labor Day! 😊Thank you for all you do to make Wilsonville thrive!

✏️ 📖 Classes are now in session, and here a few reminders to ensure that our kids get safely to and from school.

- Slow down and watch for school zones and crossings
- Keep an eye out for students walking to/from school
- Give young cyclists plenty of room
- Be alert for school buses and students getting on and off
- Give yourself a little extra time during busy drop-off and pick-up hours

Whether you're driving, biking, walking or riding the bus, a little extra patience goes a long way.

Here's to a safe and successful school year! 💛

Wilsonville Wrapped, a collaboration with the City's Arts, Culture, & Heritage Commission, will transform up to seven blank utility cabinets around the City into vibrant, artist-designed canvases with a vinyl wrap.

Utility box art programs beautify public spaces, give local artists visibility, build community pride, and mitigate graffiti tagging.

Interested artists must respond to the Call for Artists by Oct. 21. The theme for submissions is "Celebrating the Arts & Creativity.” All artists whose work is selected to participate in this Public Art Project will receive a $500 stipend.

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy Party in the Park with us last week!

We loved seeing our community come together for an evening of fun, games, music (Brandon Jones) and making memories in the park.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the event possible and especially all who joined us - we hope you had as much fun as we did!
