Wilsonville Royal Family KIDS Confronting Abuse - Changing Lives - Transforming Communities For 25 years, Royal Family KIDS, Inc.

has helped make a difference in the lives of children suffering from neglect and abuse. The charity is based in Santa Ana, California but operates 190 camps for children ages 6-12 in the foster care system, including one in Wilsonville, Oregon. This year, Royal Family KIDS will be hosting 32 children at our Wilsonville Camp and 6,270 children around the country. The camps extend Christian love and

care, with adults modeling a non-violent, positive way of life as an alternative to many of the negative, abusive situations which children of abuse and neglect have faced. In addition to receiving the attention and encouragement of adult camp counselors and his/her “buddy campers,” each camper is also exposed to a variety of fun activities, designed for their success and to build self esteem. Activity centers, games, sports, hiking, swimming and fishing are all part of the program.

Child abuse prevention starts with all of us, and we believe every child deserves a safe, happy, and healthy childhood. We are committed to protecting, advocating for, and uplifting children because we believe every child matters.

How can you make a difference?
💙 wear blue every Friday in April to show your support!
🗣️ use your voice to advocate for children. Know resources like the OR child abuse hotline (855-503-7233) & your local ODHS office.
🧠 commit to learning the signs and impacts of child abuse and how to respond
📣 share social media posts, links, resources, and organizations to help educate others
