Though officially incorporated in 1996, its origins date back to the mid-1800s, when John Marshall Wilson established a gristmill and cotton gin that helped shape the local economy. Today, Wilson’s Mills embraces its rural heritage and scenic setting along the Neuse River, all while growing into a vibrant, family-friendly community.
