Lions Club of Wilson New York The Wilson Lions Club was chartered on November 24th, 1941. The Lockport Lions were our sponsors. T The club had 36 members, and the President was Earl W. Brydges.

The charter members were Earl Brydges, James Cornell, Ronald Swick, John Meyers and Rex Stacy. The Club's 25th Anniversary was celebrated in 1966 with 47 members in attendance. Many distinguished guests were on hand, including District Governor Lewis Winship, International Director Robert Uplinger, Past International Director Claude DeVorss, Village of Wilson Mayor Robert Horton and Town of Wilson

Supervisor Walter Evans. The Wilson Lions Club meet on the first Monday of each month at the Wilson House Inn. After dinner, we have a guest speaker or occasionally a road trip!
