Tonight, one of the rarest moonrises in nearly two decades will grace the skies above Wilson.

The Strawberry Full Moon will hang unusually low and will create a breathtaking view unlike anything we've seen in 18 years. Astronomers say we won't experience another full moon this low until around 2043.

As the sun sets look toward the southeastern horizon and enjoy nature putting on a show. The first hour after sunset will offer the most dramatic view, with the moon appearing larger, brighter, and glowing should the sky remain clear.
