What an exciting time in AVID! 🎉📚

Our AVID 1, 2, & 3 students have been busy building skills, collaborating with classmates, and having a lot of fun along the way! Students recently practiced their Cornell Notes by taking notes on the process of making a stress ball. After collaborating with their groups and reviewing their notes, they were able to put their learning into action by creating their very own stress balls! 📝👏

The fun continued during the 2nd Annual AVID Games! 🏅 Each grade level competed in exciting events including a softball toss, balloon pop relay race, tug-of-war, and a 100-yard dash. The competition was filled with teamwork, school spirit, laughter, and friendly rivalry as students cheered each other on throughout the day!

Congratulations to all of our event winners who earned ribbons for their hard work and determination, and a HUGE congratulations to the AVID 3 class for being named the overall champions of this year’s AVID Games! 🏆🎊

We are so proud of our AVID students for working hard, supporting one another, and showing what it means to learn, lead, and succeed together! 💙💛
