Hey New Hanover County!! Look, if you want one of my signs, just let me know!

It looks like about 40 people wanted my signs SO MUCH that they took them from Blue Clay Rd., N. College and N. Kerr Ave.!!While I'm thrilled to be so popular, I'd hate for anyone to risk fines and criminal charges when all you have to do is ask.😊

In all seriousness, I'm so appreciative of the volunteers who worked so hard to help me place these signs in the very early hours of Tuesday, September 15. And I’m so disappointed that someone chose to remove them within 24 hours. ☹️

I aim to win this race fairly, by earning votes and convincing people that I’m the right person to serve as their next Clerk of Superior Court. That means playing by the rules and respecting the hard work of everyone involved, even when we disagree.
There’s plenty of room for spirited competition in an election. There’s no need for theft to be part of it.

And if you’d genuinely like a Jennie Thomason sign for your yard, just ask! We’ll be happy to get one to you!

50 DAYS! That’s how long we have until ELECTION DAY on November 3rd.

You have been following, so you know how hard I have been working. I want to bring a more accessible and accountable Clerk’s Office to everyone in NH County. And there is still lots of work to be done. My opponent is well-known and well-financed. I need resources (signs, literature and advertising) to get my message out to every corner NH County. So, I need your investment to help me get over the finish line in FIRST PLACE!

Thank you to Spence and Jennifer Broadhurst for opening their gorgeous home for a wonderful evening with NC Attorney General Jeff Jackson!

AG Jackson spoke about his work standing up for everyday people and helping solve the everyday problems that matter to our communities. That kind of public service is exactly what I believe the Clerk of Superior Court should be about.

As your next Clerk, I’ll be a champion, an advocate, and a friend to every citizen of New Hanover County. I’m ready to make sure our Clerk’s Office works for the people it serves.

Some exciting news! 🎉 It looks like my race is actually going to be on the FRONT of the ballot this year! I guess we need new t-shirts!

What a happy little surprise, especially for the folks who are just now discovering, “Wait…we vote for Clerk of Superior Court?!” This is such an important race and New Hanover County finally gets the opportunity to make a choice in who leads the Clerk's Office for the first time since 2010.

Either way, don’t forget: make sure you vote BOTH sides so your voice is fully heard during the midterms!
