🌟 Thinking About Applying for a Wilmington Cultural Council Grant? Don’t Be Intimidated!

Have you thought about applying for a grant but felt unsure where to start? Maybe you’re a first-time applicant, or the application process sounds complicated or overwhelming.

You’re not alone — and that’s exactly why we’re hosting an Applicant Forum! 💙

The Wilmington Cultural Council Applicant Forum is an opportunity to learn more about the grant process, ask questions, and better understand what’s involved before you apply.

🎨 Are you an artist with a creative project?
🎭 A community organization?
📚 An educator or local group?
🎶 Have an idea that could bring arts, culture, education, or enrichment to our community?

You don’t have to be a professional grant writer. You just need an idea that could benefit Wilmington.

Join us and learn about the process in a friendly, supportive setting. We’ll simulcast the Applicant Forum webinar and then have a brief Q&A afterward so you can ask questions.

“Spirit of Wood” Art Show and Craft Fair 2026

When: October 17th & 18th, 2026 at 9 AM – 4 PM
Where: Villanova Hall

Cost: Free for all ages.
Parking: Back of the church parking lot.

Why Attend?
-Lots of Raffles and Vendors
-Carvings for sale from the Tree of Hope.
-Woodcarvings on display from all over New England.
-Woodcarving and art classes being offered.
-Pumpkin Carving for all ages. While supplies last.
-Soap Carving for kids.
-Wood and woodcarving supplies on sale.
-Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Wilmington Cultural Council to Host Grant Kick-Off & Applicant Forum

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Cultural Council will host a Cultural Council Grant Kick-Off & Applicant Forum on Thursday, September 10, at 6:00 PM at Wilmington Town Hall – Large Hall.

The event is designed for community members, artists, organizations, and others interested in applying for a Cultural Council grant. First-time applicants are especially encouraged to attend.

Attendees will learn more about the grant application process, watch the informational webinar, and have an opportunity to stay afterward for a Q&A session with members of the Cultural Council.
The forum is intended to help prospective applicants better understand the grant program and prepare a strong application.

Whether you're considering an application for the first time or have applied in the past, this event is an opportunity to learn more and get your questions answered.
