The Book Fair is coming! Our Fall Book Fair with Literati will be held September 14th-18th in the Eaton Library. It will be open during school hours all week and after school shopping will be available on Tuesday, September 15th from 2:45-6:30. Be sure to join us for PTA Bingo Night from 4:30-6:30 that evening! Our online fair is open now to purchase online only items as well as gift cards for students for easy shopping. **New this year, we are required to charge 7% NC sales tax on all online and in-person sales.**

The book fair is sponsored by the Eaton Elementary PTA and proceeds benefit the Eaton Library.

Mrs. Mitchell is loading up new books for the library for our students to check out and enjoy! There is an assortment of pictures books, graphic novels, chapter books and non-fiction titles that were purchased with the funds earned from our school Book Fairs.

That's right - when you make purchases at our Book Fair, you walk out with something for you and support the school library at the same time! 100% of the library funding for new books comes from what we raise during our fairs.

Our Fall Book Fair is right around the corner - a few things to know:
📘Book Fair is September 14-18
📗Tuesday, September 15th Bingo Night -Book Fair will be open
📕Parents can purchase a e-gift card for student's to use while shopping (literati.com/store/?school=dr-hubert-eaton-senior-elementary-school-wilmington-nc)
📘 New this year - we are required to charge 7% sales tax on all purchases
📗 Due to the shortage and discontinuation of pennies, cash purchases will be rounded to the nearest nickel (up or down). The cash registers do this automatically. Other payment types will be the exact amount.
📕 Teacher wish lists will be available if you would like to directly gift your classroom a new book!
📘 By popular demand - the quarter game will be making a return during Bingo night! Have your quarters ready!

Who knew kids would be so excited for a new rug? The PTA was able to provide a new place to sit for class with Ms. Mitchell and the students were so excited!

Today's class included a book tasting - musical chairs but with books! They were able to explore a variety of genres and themes through chapter books, helping them strengthen their reading skills as they transition from picture books to more advanced texts. This additional seating allowed the students to stay focused on the goal and instructions before they moved into stations at their tables.

Thank you for supporting the PTA through Attractions Books and Spirit Nights so we can continue to show up for our students and staff!
