Coming to a park near you!
Fit For Fun is taking playtime outside this fall with the Preschool Park Pop-Up Series.

Join us for our first stop at Wade Park on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m.–noon for a morning of free, hands-on fun designed for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

We’ll be joined by friends from The Children's Museum of Wilmington , Smart Start of New Hanover County and Halyburton Park - plus a firetruck from the Wilmington Fire Department! 🚒

Bring your pooch to the pool for the 2026 Pooch Plunge! YMCA's annual event is $5 per dog per day (cash only) and no registration is required. The Pooch Plunge is all-weekend long at the Legion Stadium Pool (2131 Carolina Beach Rd) during Sept. 10 - 11 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., and Sept 12 - 13 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
