LAHC Music

We are the Music Department of Los Angeles Harbor College. The Harbor College Music Department offers a multi-faceted approach to music education.

Our music facility includes Music Hall, recording art studio, ensemble room, music computer lab, piano lab, individual practice rooms and general lecture rooms. Our professional faculty provides students with resources to prepare them for transfer to a 4-year program or to the workplace with one or more of our degrees or certificates. We also host guest artists and faculty performance events to provide professional network and opportunities for our music students.

Back by popular demand, Pro Tools Certification is being offered this Spring. Voc Ed 926 will be March 3, 17, and 24 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Voc Ed 927 will be April 14, 21, 28, May 5 and 12 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Get signed up today to get CERTIFIED!

Cassio Vianna, Brazilian composer/pianist, came to Los Angeles Harbor College and brought his unique musical stylings, expertise, and original music to our campus and community. This visit included master classes, rehearsals, private lessons, and world-class performances with our very own Wagner Trindade and more.
