Holding polluters accountable, connecting customers with their utility, and helping define CFPUA as a national leader on PFAS response. Communications and Policy Director Vaughn Hagerty has done a lot in his 7+ years with us.

As he prepares to retire, the CFPUA Board this week honored Vaughn for his service to our customers and our region. His commitment to transparency has kept customers informed about the services that make Wilmington and New Hanover County flow. Throughout his time here, Vaughn has advocated tirelessly for our environment, public health, and quality of life.
