Post 10 Honor Guard

Post 10 Honor Guard The Post 10 Honor Guard was started in 2003 and in 2005 it was reassigned to the United States Volunteers (USV).

In July 2007 the entire USV team joined American Legion Post 10 and became a Committee of the Post.

With the flag and taps service held for Major Robert Earl Dempsey, on July 24th at Oleander Memorial Gardens, Post 10 Honor Guard member. Gene Funderburk, attained the distinction of having rendered military honors at 600 funerals. Gene's honor guard service of over 15 years is distinguished by the flair and precision of his flag folding. Thank you Gene for your continued services to our nation's heroes.
