Our Summer Enrichment Program kicks off on Monday.

Eight weeks of field trips, swimming, music, sports, activity clubs, and academic enrichment await — all on a schedule built to make working parents' lives easier.

The program is open to kids ages 5 to 12, and runs from June 22 through August 14. If your child isn't enrolled yet, there's still time. Call Jazmine at 302.658.5404, ext. 135, to get them signed up.

When a child walks into a preschool classroom, their whole family walks in with them — and we wouldn't want it any other way.

Getting a three- or four-year-old ready for kindergarten is a team effort, and the best outcomes happen when everyone's pulling in the same direction.

If you care about family engagement and school readiness as much as we do, we're searching for our next Lead Teacher for our new state-funded preschool classroom.

Grateful to Sen. Dan Cruce for visiting this week as part of Wear Orange Weekend and National Gun Violence Awareness Day. He caught a glimpse of the creativity and passion of our kids as they expressed themselves through art.

When our Summer Enrichment Program is in session, this is a familiar sight around the neighborhood. Kids walking back from the park or playground. Staff leading the way, making sure everyone's moving in the same direction.

It's the kind of scene we don't take for granted — made possible by a team that shows up and gives it their all, and parents who trust us with their kids for eight weeks.

We can't wait to run it back this summer. 🤎

The best preschool classrooms are places where learning doesn't feel like a chore, and a great teacher is the reason why.

We're hiring a Lead Teacher for our new state-funded preschool classroom — someone who knows how to bring the right mix of energy, patience, and love for the work to a room full of bright and curious three- and four-year-olds.

If this sounds like the kind of role you've been looking for, you'll need an ECE degree, at least two years of experience teaching preschoolers, and a working knowledge of Teaching Strategies GOLD.

We're opening a new state-funded preschool classroom at Neighborhood House, and we're looking for a Lead Teacher to help shape it from day one.

This is a full-time, year-round role for an experienced early childhood educator who's ready to help a classroom full of preschoolers get ready for kindergarten and beyond.

If you have an ECE degree, at least two years of preschool teaching under your belt, and experience with Teaching Strategies GOLD, we'd love to hear from you.
