Chair Krista Griffith and many members of the DVCC’s Animal Abuse and DV Committee were present for the signing of HB131, HB134 and HB415! Thank you Krista Griffith Nicole Poore Senator Jack Walsh and many others for your leadership and efforts to strengthen Delaware laws regarding animal cruelty and for recognizing the link between cruelty to animals and violence against humans including child abuse, domestic violence and elder abuse. Thank you Governor Matt Meyer for signing to enact these laws!

Our next WPD Community Resource Fair, and this year’s Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims, will be held on Thursday, September 10 from 4-6 p.m. at the William “Hicks” Anderson Community Center (501 North Madison Street). We hope you can join us there!
