Windy morning on Whiteface!
Early today our summit observatory recorded a 112 mph wind gust — the strongest gust we've measured in 10 years on the summit.
At that speed it’s less of a breeze and more of a two-hands-on-the-railing kind of morning up top. Pretty sure a few spruce needles just filed a change-of-address to Vermont.
