UNCW Watson Student Leaders Honorary Program UNCW WSL is a group of dedicated, enthusiastic students who are passionate about the teaching profession & representing the Watson College of Education.

What is a Watson Student Leader (WSL)? A dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about the teaching profession and has a desire to represent the Watson College of Education through leadership, professionalism, and service of past, present, and future Watson Alumni. Who is eligible to be a Watson Student Leader? Undergraduate or graduate students who will be or has been admitted int

o the Watson College of Education and are in good academic standing can apply to become a WSL. What do Watson Students Leaders do? Attend one mandatory meetings each month
Participate in 4 required events per semester:
- 1 Recruitment event
- 1 Community Outreach event
- 1 Professional Development event
- 1 Ambassador event

What are the required events like? In the past, our events have included:
- Razor Walker Awards
- Involvement carnival
- Community fairs
- Workshops and conferences
- Watson Preview Day
