BRYAN SHUPE

Incumbent State Representative Bryan Shupe is seeking reelection to continue representing the people of House District 36.

PATRICK SMITH

Patrick Smith is running to represent House District 36 and bring accessible, reliable, and productive representation to the district.

“Delawareans want honest and reliable representation, both at Legislative Hall and locally within their own communities. I aim to bring availability and productivity to the District 36 House Seat, in addition to renewed optimism that the Republican Party is still very pronounced in Sussex County. We deserve better in District 36. We deserve someone who represents who we are and how we live, and that is why I have worked tirelessly to deliver that to the people of District 36.”

MEET THE CANDIDATES | DAN ZITOFSKY

Dan Zitofsky is running to represent House District 4 and bring proven public service, constitutional principles, and a strong commitment to public safety to Dover.

“I’m running for State Representative because the people of the Fourth District deserve a proven public servant who will put their safety, their families, and their freedom ahead of politics. As a Navy veteran, former police officer, and constitutional conservative, I will bring real-world experience and a steady voice to Dover to defend our rights, protect taxpayer dollars, support law enforcement, and keep Delaware affordable. I am honored to have the endorsement of retiring State Representative Dr. Jeff Hilovsky, and I am committed to continuing his legacy of principled, accessible representation for Long Neck, Oak Orchard, Angola, and every community in the Fourth District. I will listen, work hard, and fight every day for the law-abiding families who call this community home.”

MEET THE CANDIDATES | LYNDON YEARICK

Lyndon Yearick is running to represent House District 34 and continue working to strengthen Delaware’s economy, schools, communities, and families.

“I have proven my accountability to the 34th District and Delaware. While staying committed to my convictions and principles, I believe we must also work together to address the challenges facing our state. One-party rule in Delaware is not working, and OK is not good enough. We continue spending more on education while our students are less prepared, law-abiding gun owners face greater restrictions while illegal gun violence continues, and our economy and job creation lag behind other states. As your 34th District State Representative, I will continue working to create jobs, restore fiscal responsibility, provide good schools, honor the individual, strengthen our communities, and protect your family.”

Campaign money should be used for campaigning—not dating apps.

Reports that Eric Morrison’s campaign paid for Hinge subscriptions raise a serious question for Delaware voters: Is this really an appropriate use of campaign contributions?

What makes this even more troubling is Morrison’s own record on campaign-finance legislation.

Morrison sponsored HB 292, which called for the Department of Elections to review campaign contribution and expense reports and identify reports as “Reviewed and Final.”

He also sponsored HB 291, which increased disclosure requirements for campaign contributions and created a way to report suspected campaign-finance violations. That bill became law in 2024.

And in 2026, Morrison sponsored HB 344, another campaign-finance bill dealing with disclosure, enforcement and political-committee records.

So the question is simple:

If you're going to write the rules governing campaign finances, shouldn't you hold yourself to the highest possible standard?

Campaign donors deserve to know that their hard-earned contributions are being spent responsibly and for legitimate campaign purposes.

District 27 deserves better than double standards.

MEET THE CANDIDATES | MARY "PENNY" KUBIN

Mary "Penny" Kubin is running to represent House District 27 and give families a stronger voice in Dover.

“I am running for State Representative in Delaware’s 27th District to give families a stronger voice in Dover. As a mom, wife, and neighbor, I understand the everyday concerns of rising costs, school accountability, neighborhood safety, and government spending. I am not seeking a career in politics; I am committed to bringing common sense, respect, accountability, and family-first priorities to public service. My campaign focuses on safer communities, stronger schools, lower costs, parental involvement, taxpayer respect, and accountable government.”

MEET THE CANDIDATES | GENE DVORNICK

Gene Dvornick is running to represent House District 20 and bring experienced, community-first leadership and common sense to Dover.

“I am running to prevent a supermajority in Dover. I want to make it easier for businesses to operate, support a strong local workforce, and ensure government spends wisely, listens carefully, and delivers results. Smart growth is essential to a thriving local economy, but our services must keep pace with that growth. As a 40-year volunteer firefighter, 20-year town manager, and experienced accountant, I have proven myself as a successful decision-maker in both the private and public sectors.”

MEET THE CANDIDATES | CHRISTOPHER ROWE

Christopher Rowe is running to represent State Senate District 7 and bring greater accountability and fiscal responsibility to Dover.

“The one-party system in Delaware has our state teetering on a financial cliff and must be stopped. My plan is to call out those causing the problems while providing real solutions on issues including government schools, energy regulations that create financial burdens, and unjust property taxes placed on homeowners. I will not rest until these issues are addressed for the people of Delaware.”

MEET THE CANDIDATES | EMILY THOMPSON

Emily Thompson is running to represent State Senate District 15 and be a strong, accessible voice for the people and communities of her district.

“I’m running for State Senate because I want to be a strong, accessible voice for the people of District 15 and the communities that make Delaware home. I believe government should be responsible with taxpayer dollars, support working families and small businesses, protect our farms, strengthen education, uphold our Second Amendment rights, and keep our communities safe. I’m ready to bring a practical, hardworking perspective to Dover and fight for the issues that matter right here at home. This campaign is about putting Delaware first and making sure the people of this district have a voice at the table to protect what we’ve built for our farms, families, and future.”
