🚨⚠️Will County Emergency Management Agency is moving to a new emergency notification system: Rave & Smart911! You can visit the website to sign-up for alerts: https://willcounty911.gov/smart-911/

🚨 Will County Alerts are changing!

Starting July 1, 2026, Will County will switch to Smart911 for emergency and community alert notifications.

If you are currently signed up for Will County alerts through Everbridge, you will need to register through Smart911 to continue receiving local alerts.

Smart911 can be used to send important notifications such as public safety alerts, boil orders, road closures, severe weather information, and other emergency or community alerts.

🌟🎺🥁The Wilmington Area Community Band will perform the first concert of the 19th season on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Veteran's Memorial Park.

Arrive early and order dinner from "Forkin' Good" food truck! Please bring a lawn chair, mosquito spray, snacks, and water and relax in the shade as the band performs the following music in a beautiful outdoor setting.

This concert's theme is "Patriotic/Americana - Happy 250th Birthday, America!

Veteran's Memorial Park is located at the intersection of Williams and Vine Streets - across from Oakwood Cemetery and Island City Baptist Church. The Wilmington Area Community Band is a volunteer group of local musicians from ages 13 up. In the event of rain or excess heat, our alternative concert location is Wilmington High School and signs will be posted at the park.

♻️Will County will be hosting a FREE Electronic Drop-Off event on June 11, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the front parking lot of Wilmington City Hall. It’s a great chance to recycle your old electronics! For more details, check out http://www.willcountygreen.com/.

And remember, electronic recycling occurs every second Thursday of the month, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We hope to see you there!

Dear Residents,

The Boil Order that has been in effect for your area since 06/05/2026 is now lifted. Removal of this boil order also releases any/all food service establishments to reopen.

The water main was repaired, flushed, sampled, and tested on 06/05/2026. The passing results were received by the laboratory on 06/06/2026" around 08:00 am.

NOTICE – BOIL ORDER

LOCATION: 32050 to 32801 West River Road, Kerry Lane, Kerry Court & Riverside Court

The City of Wilmington is issuing a Boil Water Order starting at 8:00 AM on Friday, June 5, 2026, for the addresses listed above. This is due to a temporary water main shutdown necessary for the installation of a new water main and the required connections.

Residents in the affected area will receive cases of water delivered to their doorstep.
