Safe Syringe Disposal Services for Green Up Day – May 2 (8:00 AM–12:00 PM)

Green Up Day is back, bringing communities across Vermont together to clean up roadsides and public spaces.

🚨 Important Safety Update 🚨
This year, the Community Substance Use Response (CSUR) and the AIDS Project is offering free syringe disposal pick-up services on Green Up Day in Windham County.

If you encounter a used syringe:
❌ Do NOT handle it with bare hands
❌ Do NOT place it in trash or recycling
📞 Call the AIDS Project at **(802) 490-6667** for safe, confidential disposal

This service is also available year-round in Windham County through the AIDS Project.

This Saturday, April 25, is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day - a simple way to protect your family, friends, and community.

Unused or expired medications can be dangerous if they fall into the wrong hands. Help prevent misuse and keep our environment safe by safely disposing of them.

It can seem like the pressure to use to***co and vapes are high, but most high school students are choosing not to use. Parents, peers, and communities and prevention programs can make a difference!
