I am stepping into the arena, again. I have just been nominated as the Republican candidate for State Senate - District 5. Delaware is heading in the wrong direction and I couldn't leave the Democrat incumbent, Ray Seigfried - or possibly his Democrat Socialist primary challenger, Shay Frisby - to walk into this seat unchallenged.
I am a common sense Republican, who values life, public safety and limited government. The Democrat Party has veered far to the left and is ruining our once great state. We need balanced voices in Dover to represent us. The mess they made of our property taxes is just one of the more visible impacts.
I come from the business world, a trained engineer, operations and supply chain manager. I retired from Dupont and its spinoff, Axalta, after a 38 year career. I know how to work with people and get things done. I've followed the legislative activities in Dover for many years, so I understand the role and the stakes for our community.
