DEPOSIT THEM BEHIND LIBRARY OR IN THE CONTAINER IN THE LIBRARY. 4,700 CITIZENS SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE 2100 CANS PER MONTH.

The Scholarship Fund will fund
College or Trade Schools for one year
BUILDING FUND
The first project is to add an
EDUCATIONAL/CONFERENCE ROOM This addition will allow THE FRIENDS to rent the space to Businesses to fund
• A NEW MODERN LIBRARY
• To use as a classroom for
o Special Library Programs
o Genealogy Classes
o Tutoring
o Prep for College or Trade School
o Or, as it may be needed for our Citizens to use for meetings such as book Clubs, etc.
If funds are designated specifically for a NEW LIBRARY those funds will be put in a separate BUILDING FUND for a NEW MODERN LIBRARY.
THE FRIENDS OPERATIONAL FUND
• Liability Insurance as required by the State
• CPA Services
• Equipment as needed and approved by the Board which includes but is not limited to paper, ink, printing, banners, posters, blue recycle bins to be placed at local warehouses, corporations, etc.

MISSION STATEMENT

FRIENDS OF THE E. M.GILLIAM MEMORIAL LIBRARY (Wilmer Texas) is formed exclusively for charitable literary and educational purposes as specified in Sec 501 © (3) of the Revenue Code of 1954, as amended. These purposes are:

· To maintain a membership of persons, corporations and businesses (herein referred to as “member”) supportive of the E. M. Gilliam Memorial Public Library ( Wilmer, Texas) (herein after referred to as “the Library”;

· To support and cooperate with the Library in developing, maintaining, and enhancing facilities, resources, and services;
