Amnesty Day is next week, September 21 through September 23, 2026. During Amnesty Day, residents can place an unlimited amount of acceptable household refuse at the curb on their regularly scheduled garbage collection day without using waste stickers. This is a great opportunity to clear out unwanted household items and bulky refuse. Please remember that landscape waste, tires, appliances, construction debris, electronics, televisions, and paint are not accepted. On National Police Woman Day, we recognize and celebrate the women in law enforcement who serve with courage, dedication, and compassion. From officers on patrol to those serving in leadership and specialized roles, women play an important role in protecting and strengthening our communities. Today, we proudly recognize all policewomen and women in law enforcement for their commitment to serving others, and we extend a special thank you to the women of the Willowbrook Police Department for their service and dedication to the Willowbrook community.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed that day. We honor the nearly 3,000 innocent people who lost their lives, the first responders and heroes who answered the call, and the families and communities who continue to carry their memories. May we never forget the courage, compassion, and unity that emerged in the face of unimaginable tragedy. We remember. We honor. We will never forget!

We’re getting closer to our 2nd Annual Public Safety Open House and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to the Willowbrook Police Department on Saturday, September 12! 👮‍♀️🚒🚑

Parking at the Municipal Complex will be VERY limited, so we strongly encourage visitors to park in the rear parking lot of the Delta Hotels by Marriott Chicago Willowbrook, located at:
