A “Go” Evacuation order has been in place for the City of Anderson since last evening.
A shelter has been opened in Healy.
At last report the Starry Fire grew from 100 acres to 700 acres.
At this time:
“There has been no impact to the Parks Highway Traffic. There will be an increase of fire apparatus, heavy equipment and aviation related to the fire response.”
