Park Closure Notice:

Cornelius Williams Park will be closed beginning Friday, September 11, 2026, until further notice.

Construction has begun to make improvements to the park and enhance the facility for the enjoyment and use of the residents of Williston.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these improvements are underway. We look forward to reopening the park and providing an improved space for our community.

🇺🇸 REMEMBERING SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

Today we remember the innocent lives lost on 9/11 and honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMTs, and other first responders who ran toward danger and made the ultimate sacrifice.

We also pray for the first responders serving today. Some were only children on September 11, 2001, and some weren’t even born yet. They may not remember that day, but they carry forward the legacy of those who came before them every time they put on the uniform and answer the call. Today, tell your story in where you were at on that day.

We remember. We honor. We pray. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

ANYONE RECEIVING THIS NOTICE: A LOSS OF WATER PRESSURE HAS BEEN EXPERIENCED DUE TO THE WELL IN YOUR AREA EXPERIENCING ISSUES. THEREFORE, AS A PRECAUTION, WE ADVISE THAT ALL WATER USED FOR DRINKING, COOKING, MAKING ICE, BRUSHING TEETH, OR WASHING DISHES BE BOILED. A ROLLING BOIL OF ONE MINUTE IS SUFFICIENT. AS AN ALTERNATIVE BOTTLED WATER MAY BE USED. THIS PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN CORRECTED AND A BACTERIOLOGICAL SURVEY SHOWS THAT THE WATER IS SAFE TO DRINK.
