Wednesday, September 9th is HIGH ATTENDANCE DAY across Kentucky, and we want North Washington Elementary to show up BIG!

Our goal is simple: fill every classroom, fill every seat, and show what happens when North Washington is ALL IN!

Be on time. Be present. Be ready to learn.
And because showing up is worth celebrating…
EVERY STUDENT who is at school tomorrow will get a POP ICE during recess!

Red, blue, or green, which one are you hoping for?
Set those alarms, get a good night’s sleep, and make sure you’re here ON TIME tomorrow morning!

NORTH WASHINGTON PTO SNACK CART REMINDER

Before you tuck those kiddos into bed tonight, don’t forget to put their Snack Cart money in their backpacks!

The North Washington PTO Snack Cart begins TOMORROW, Friday, September 4th!

Everything is $1.00, and students may purchase up to 3 items for a maximum of $3.00.

A few important reminders for tomorrow:
• Please send $1, $2, or $3 with your child, depending on how many items they would like to purchase.
• Please send exact change. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide change at the Snack Cart.
• Snack Cart money must come to school WITH your student Friday morning. Money cannot be dropped off or brought to the school later in the day.
• Please do not send more than $3.00 per student.

Students will have lots of yummy choices, including juices, Capri Suns, chips, string cheese, Go-Gurts, fruit snacks, and other fun treats!

We’re excited to kick off another year of the North Washington PTO Snack Cart! Thank you for helping us make Friday’s Snack Cart run smoothly for our students and volunteers.

And an extra BIG thank-you to our wonderful North Washington PTO! All proceeds from Snack Cart go right back to supporting the staff and students of North Washington Elementary.

NORTH WASHINGTON PTO SNACK CART
EVERYTHING IS $1.00!

The North Washington PTO Snack Cart will be available every Friday, unless otherwise specified.

SNACK CART BEGINS THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH!

Students will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of tasty treats, including:
Juices
Capri Suns
Chips
String Cheese
Go-Gurts
Fruit Snacks
And several other fun snacks and treats!

All Snack Cart items are $1.00 each.

PURCHASE LIMIT

To help make Snack Cart fair and manageable for everyone, there is a limit of 3 items per student, for a maximum total of $3.00 each Friday.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT MONEY

Snack Cart money must be sent with your individual student on Friday morning.

Please note:
Snack Cart money cannot be accepted in the front office.
Students should bring their own money with them on Friday morning.
Money should not be shared or distributed between students for Snack Cart purchases.
Please send no more than $3.00 per student for Snack Cart.

We would love to have your help!

Anyone interested in volunteering for Snack Cart must first contact the Board of Education and complete the required background checks.

First Grade Math in Motion! 🧮🎲

Our first graders are diving headfirst into hands-on counting and addition this week! Teachers showed students how to use fun manipulatives to master new skills through play. They raced to the finish line in Number Race, rolling dice and combining numbers to build addition skills, and organized colorful sets of objects in Counting Collections to strengthen their counting and problem-solving.

We love seeing them discover new ways to think! 🌟👏
