Money Matters took this lesson beyond the classroom with a visit to Jazzy Junque Resale Shop!

The Wranglers practiced building a budget, calculating discounts, comparing prices, and using coupons during Jazzy Junque’s 18th birthday celebration. They got a closer look at how the resale shop operates, from donation intake to the process behind getting items ready for the sales floor.

The Wranglers also learned why Jazzy Junque matters to New Danville: the shop exists to support our mission, with sales revenue helping fund the programs and opportunities our community depends on.

It was a hands-on way to practice money management while seeing firsthand how Jazzy Junque gives back to New Danville! 💵

The pottery wheel had an audience.

Ceramics Class gave each Wrangler a chance to sit down at the wheel and see what they could shape with the clay. Just as memorable was everything happening around them: friends watching, laughing, offering encouragement, and celebrating each attempt. There was plenty of focus at the wheel, but no shortage of fun surrounding it. 💙

Art History Class took learning beyond the classroom with a trip to the Huntsville Antique Mall!

The Wranglers put their observation skills to work during a scavenger hunt, searching through vintage treasures. As they explored, they looked closely, asked questions, and spotted pieces that brought history to life. 🖼️
