Thank you Senator Jeff Gordon for getting funding for Willington’s infrastructure!
I’m proud to share that the State Bond Commission has officially approved more than $6.5 million in funding for important projects across our district that will help improve infrastructure, protect the environment, and support our local communities, without placing the burden on local property taxpayers.
This includes:
✅ $1.275 million for Coventry for culvert and causeway improvements along Broad Way
✅ $1.5 million for Willington for replacement of the Liska Road culvert
✅ $1.3 million for Stafford for environmental cleanup efforts at the Witt School property
✅ $2.5 million for Vernon for remediation work at Daniel’s Mill
These investments will help address long-standing needs, improve public safety, and support future growth while helping our towns and residents avoid taking on these major costs alone. I’m grateful to everyone who helped move these projects forward.
