Monroe Township Ambulance & Rescue Association was formed in 1948 and provides EMS & Rescue services for the Township of Monroe, New Jersey. We are composed of 100% volunteers who staff in house ambulances Monday-Friday 6p-6a, both weekend days and weekend nights. Each volunteer ambulance has an in-house duty crew staffed at all times with a minimum of (2) NJ State Department of Health & Senior Services Certified Emergency Medical Technicians. All of our volunteer EMTs volunteer a minimum of 12 hours per week to serve our Township residents and it's guests. In conjunction with Monroe Twp. EMS career staff (who are in station Weekdays 6a-6p), we have a call volume of over 4,000 9-1-1 calls each year.
