The Planning Commission is working on a Town Plan Update. The Town Plan is a visionary document that guides its growth, development, projects, and decision-making. It incorporates community input as well as state planning goals and requirements. The planning commission, with support from Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission, conducted a town survey recently and one of the topics that rose to the top was resilience.
To better understand our strengths and vulnerabilities as a community, it is helpful to identify what hazards members of the communities face and where. Please vote on the most important hazards for Williamstown to plan for and provide input on priorities.
1. You can do this in person by visiting the Town Offices and using the orange stickers to vote on the Hazards Poster. We welcome you to add notations on the adjacent map of Williamstown and with post-its to further elaborate on WHERE and WHO (help us identify location-specific hazards, vulnerable locations, project ideas, etc.)
2. You can do this online by taking this short google form survey (your email and person information is not recorded in this survey) https://forms.gle/bWov9BV8fqcyJaN5A
Thank you for your feedback. For more information please contact the planning commission at [email protected].
