A huge thank you to Dr. Timothy Miller for joining us to discuss his book, Thomas Bog Slade and Female Education in Early Georgia, 1800-1882. Dr. Miller shared the fascinating story of Thomas Bog Slade, a Martin County, North Carolina native whose work helped shape female education in 19th-century Georgia.

We also extend our appreciation to the Martin County Historical Society for filming this special program and helping preserve and share our local stories for future generations.
