2026 Martin County Board of Education Candidate Filing

Filing Dates: Candidate filing shall begin at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 1, 2026. Candidate filing shall end at 12:00 noon on Friday, July 31, 2026. All Notices of Candidacy, together with proper filing fee, must be in the possession of the Martin County Board of Elections by the deadline to be accepted.

2026 Martin County Soil and Water Conservation Candidate Filing

Filing Date: Candidate filing shall begin at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 8, 2026. Candidate filing shall end at 12:00 noon on Friday, July 6, 2026. All Notices of Candidacy, together with proper filing fee, must be in the possession of the Martin County Board of Elections by the deadline to be accepted.

If you register in person or online through the DMV or another voter registration agency, your application will be timely if it is received by that agency at least 25 days before the election. Eligible individuals who miss the regular voter registration deadline may register and vote during the early voting period.

The Elections office is open Monday through Friday (8:00 AM- 12:30 pm and 1:30 PM-5:00 PM). If you have any questions concerning filing or voter registration, please call the Elections office at 252-789-4317. Additional information can be found at www.ncsbe.gov.

2026 Primary Election

If you are a registered voter and wish to vote, you must do so at your assigned precinct on Tuesday – March 3, 2026. Polls will be open from 6:30 AM until 7:30 PM. (There is no voting at the Governmental Center on Election Day.)

REMINDER: Voters will be asked to show PHOTO ID when voting. All voters will be allowed to vote (provisionally) with or without photo ID.
