PUBLIC VOTING IS NOW OPEN IN MICHIGAN’S “I VOTED” STICKER DESIGN CONTEST

Michiganders can vote online through June 30 to choose the final designs for the State's official November 2026 Election "I Voted" sticker.

Visit michigan.gov/ivotedsticker to submit your vote anytime between now and 11:59 p.m. on June 30.

Voters can select their favorite three stickers in each category. Winners will be announced later in the summer and will receive special recognition from the Michigan Department of State.

The Michigan Department of State / Secretary of State will never ask people to send money or personal information via text message, email or QR code. Please contact the Michigan Department of Attorney General for more information on how to identify scams and to file a complaint.

CITY COUNCIL has a vacancy for a term to expire 11/30/2026. Applications are being accepted and are due on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Review and interviews will take place at the June 22, 2026, Council Meeting with a final decision to be made at the July 13, 2026, Council meeting. Council meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 6:00 pm unless otherwise noted. The new Council member’s first meeting would be July 27, 2026.

CITY OF WILLIAMSTON PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the filing date for nominating petitions for the November 3, 2026 Williamston City Council Election has been set for Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

A nominating petition and supporting documentation for the Williamston City Council can be obtained at Williamston City Hall, located at 161 E. Grand River Avenue, Williamston, Michigan between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. all scheduled days of operation.
