What an awesome program being offered by the Martin County Sheriff's Office - Drew Robinson, Sheriff and what an awesome opportunity for the Seniors and Citizens of Martin County!! Please take advantage and sign up! This program could literally be a Life Saver 💝

Sheriff Drew Robinson Launches New Safety Program

Sheriff Drew Robinson is pleased to announce that the Martin County Sheriff’s Office will soon begin offering a new safety and wellness service for Martin County citizens.

The program, ConfirmOK, is an automated service designed to check on registered users each day by phone call or text message at a time agreed upon by the user. During the daily check-in, users will have the option to confirm they are okay or indicate that they need assistance. If a registered user does not respond, deputies will be dispatched to the residence to conduct a welfare check.

Emergency contact information will also be maintained as part of the program to help deputies and emergency personnel respond appropriately when needed.

This service will be offered free of charge to Martin County citizens.

“As Sheriff, I believe it is my responsibility to do everything possible to help ensure the safety and well-being of the citizens we serve,” said Sheriff Drew Robinson. “ConfirmOK will provide an added layer of reassurance for individuals, families, caregivers and loved ones by helping ensure that those who may need assistance are regularly checked on.”

Additional information regarding registration and participation in the ConfirmOK program will be released in the coming days.

Here at Martin County Adult & Aging Services, we are BLESSED to have THE BEST Administrative Assistant! Mrs. Edna started her journey with us as a volunteer and served for 11 years before being hired as a Part Time Receptionist. Mrs. Edna now serves as our Administrative Assistant but what she brings to the Senior Center is beyond! If there's ever anything needed she knows it, doesn't hesitate to jump in to do it, or finds a way to get it taken care of! The knowledge she brings is extraordinary and the stories she can tell, well she could literally write a book! We are so thankful she chooses to spend her days with us and beyond grateful for her!
