Polls are open at Williamstown Township until 8 pm tonight, May 5, 2026. Both Precinct 1 & Precinct 2 will vote at the Williamstown Township Hall, corner of Germany and Zimmer Rds.

We are currently on generator power due to a tree that fell on a power line on the Germany Rd. side of our parking lot. Please avoid that area of the parking lot when you come to vote today! Voting and election activities will continue as usual. This has been reported to DTE Energy.

As of 1 pm, the power line hazard at the Township office has been resolved and we are operating on normal power. You have until 8 pm to vote today.

15th Annual Williamstown Township Artists' Fine Art Sale & Studio Tour returns with 24 artists and 6 venues.

Join us for the 15th Annual Artists’ Fine Art Sale & Studio Tour May1st (5-9pm) and May 2nd (10am-5pm.) This season we are pleased to host 20 professional local artists and 4 local high school artists. Artists will be displaying art forms such as textiles, ceramics, sculpture, paintings and more. The self-guided tour starts at Williamstown Twp Hall and travels through rural areas stopping at five more artist studios or venues.

Artist Spotlight: Matt Mulford

Matt Mulford is a Lansing/Williamston based artist who works in numerous mediums, from pen and ink and scratchboard, to watercolor and acrylic. His love for nature comes through in most everything he creates; it is his prime source of inspiration. Wildlife, fantasy, comic, and landscape art are a few of his favorite genres to work in.

Visit Matt on May 1st (5-9pm) and May 2nd (10am-5pm) at the Williamston Wellness Studio.

Artist Spotlight: Lee Kronenberg

Lee states: “For over fifty years, creative welding has been my passion. I love experimenting with new processes, and I especially love it when a plan exceeds my expectations. No matter how many welding labs I participate in, or how often I am in my studio, I continue to learn. My art continues to evolve. From a personal and professional standpoint, this becomes more and more exciting. I very much enjoy shaping and molding metals into pleasing and unusual forms. Sometimes, sculpting begins as a free-form journey. Sometimes the design takes shape from a thought or inspiration. The most exciting experience occurs when I dream about a sculpture, and then I begin to build on that dream. My hope is that one finds my sculptures interesting enough to pause, and to consider.”

Visit Lee at his studio on Friday evening, May 1st (5-9pm) and Saturday, May 2nd (10am-5pm).
