The Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Company #1 was established in 1925. We provide Emergency Services first due to Loyalsock Township and Lycoming County, PA.

Running an Engine, Rescue Engine, Tanker, Brush, Utility and 3 ambulances.

Congratulations Brendan Kriner on your promotion to Lieutenant!

Brendan joined the fire company in 2020 as a junior member. He has served in several roles in the past including Fire Inspector. Brendan has been an extremely active member, leading company drill nights and assisting newer members with their rookie books.

We wish him the best in this new role and looking forward to him to continue to progress within the fire service.

We’d like to thank Hepburn Township Volunteer Fire Company and Trout Run Volunteer Fire Company for their assistance with the 9/11 ride today. We’d also like to thank Venice Pizza for dinner! It’s much appreciated!!!

Our department along with multiple mutual aid companies are currently working on scene of a garage fire on Motters Lane, in the Hesbon area of the township.

Members from Station 18 spent the day sharpening their skills doing water rescue and boat operations training, followed by some well-deserved food and time together!

A special thank you to Picture Rocks Volunteer Fire Company for the boat orientation, and Howard Fire Company for lending us a boat!

This evening for drill several members practiced using the entanglement prop. Wall breaching and other search techniques in cramped quarters were discussed.

To wrap on up the night three members participated in timed mask up drills with gloves.

Car and Engine 18 assisted Montoursville Fire Department with a trailer fire today. The crew helped with suppression and overhaul.

Members from Station 18 attended a class this morning on foam application and response. There was discussion about the differences between legacy and F3 products, foam application and the use of ARFF resources outside for a municipal response.

Multiple incidents were handled today by both career and volunteer staff. Huge thank you to our mutual aid partners and PSP for their assistance. Quick actions resulted in a successful swift water rescue. Thank you all for your dedication and commitment to excellence—your work makes a real impact!
