Albright LIFE is where seniors go to thrive so they can stay in their homes as long as possible. Participants have the opportunity to come during the day for social activities, therapy and nutritional meals to keep their bodies and minds healthy and active. LIFE is comprised of dedicated professionals, caregivers and an on-site physician who provide a high level of all-inclusive onsite expert care as participants need it. Funding may be provided by Medicare, Medicaid, Long Term Care Insurance or private resources and participants must live in the service area of the LIFE Center, be 55+ and nursing home eligible.

It’s beginning to look, and taste, like fall at Albright LIFE Lycoming!

Our participants are still enjoying the harvest from the garden they planted and tended all summer, including turning fresh ingredients into homemade salsa. They’ve also been busy creating beautiful fall centerpieces and kicking off college and NFL football season with a fun tailgate party! 🏈

What makes LIFE different?

It starts with a team that truly gets to know each participant.

Doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers, dietitians, transportation professionals and other members of the care team work together to coordinate services around each participant’s individual needs and goals.

That means fewer disconnected pieces for older adults and their caregivers to manage—and one team communicating, planning and helping along the way.

September is National PACE Month! 🎉

Throughout the month, we’re celebrating the participants, caregivers, employees and community partners who make LIFE possible.

PACE—known as LIFE in Pennsylvania—brings healthcare and supportive services together to help eligible older adults continue living safely and independently in their own homes. Through one coordinated program, participants can receive medical care, therapies, transportation, medications, personal support and opportunities for meaningful connection.

Most importantly, LIFE helps older adults continue living life on their terms, surrounded by the people and places they know and love.

We wrapped up summer with a picnic for our participants and staff! 🌭☀️
There were hot dogs fresh off the grill, macaroni salad, baked beans and acini di pepe salad for dessert, plus plenty of laughs along the way. A special shoutout to Brett for serving as our master griller and to Jim for keeping everything moving from grill to table.

Thank you to the staff members who donated, prepared food and helped make the day such a success. We’re grateful for the moments we get to share together at the center! 💙

Stop by the Albright LIFE table at the Senior Expo to meet our team and learn how the LIFE program helps eligible older adults receive coordinated healthcare and support while continuing to live safely at home.

🚶‍♀️ Another destination reached! Our Albright LIFE Lycoming walkers logged an incredible 242 miles, enough to make it all the way to Seaside Heights! 🌊☀️

We celebrated with a little armchair travel, Beach Boys music, beach volleyball and seaside-inspired snacks, including fish and fresh green pepper strips from our garden with ranch for dipping.

Of course, no beach day would be complete without iced tea topped with fancy umbrellas. Some of our participants even turned their umbrellas into hair accessories for a little extra beach flair!

Way to go, walkers! Where will your miles take you next? 👏
