If anyone collects Litlte League Pins, we have them for both Jaysburg Disposal and Bobs Disposal. Please call the office to arrange pickup or you can stop at the garage this Saturday.

**Saturday from 730am-8 am, I will be setting up a table at 316 Center St. in Williamsport. I will be on the third Street side next to all of the dumpsters. Cash only sales, thank you!!**

Hey all! We will be running our regular schedule on Thanksgiving. All recycling will be picked up Thursday 11/24, along with customers whose normal trash pickup is that day as well. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

Due to the impending snowstorm the next 2 days, your pickup may be delayed. Please make sure your can is cleared out of snow/ice and also your driveway or alleyway if your pickup is not on a main roadway so that we may pick up safely. Thank you.

We apologize for the delays in picking up your trash due to the snowstorm last week. Most areas were not plowed out very well. We cannot make it down alleys when they are not plowed through and it is dangerous to not be able to pull over on main streets for pickup. We cannot answer/return 50+ calls per day about trash not being picked up. This happens every winter. Please be understanding and know that we will pick up your trash as soon as we can! We will be running on both Christmas and New Year’s Day. Happy Holidays!! 🎅🏻🎄

LIMITED RECYCLING DROP OFF SITE LOCATIONS
REOPENING TO PUBLIC STARTING MAY 13, 2020

Lycoming County – Lycoming County Resource Management Services will be slowly reopening recycling drop off sites throughout the County. Please know that inbound recyclables are not processed until after three days after collection. Therefore, it is a slow process to reopen all sites. The following sites will be reopened to the public starting May 13, 2020.

If you or anyone in your household has COVID19, please throw away your recyclables. In addition, Lycoming County is still in the “yellow” for reopening, we ask everyone to continue to wear their masks while accessing the sites. If you do not wish to visit the drop off sites, please know single stream recycling is available in Lycoming County. Reach out to your waste hauler for details.

Recycling drop off sites will reopen Wednesday, May 13, at City of Williamsport, Hughesville Borough, Jersey Shore Borough, Loyalsock Township, and South Williamsport Borough.

Please be aware that collection procedures have changed. To better accommodate the inbound recyclables and help with its transportation, more materials will be combined:
1. FIBER/PAPERS which are magazines, newspapers, chipboard, office paper junk mail, and cardboard that has been broken down are all acceptable into one container.
2. PLASTICS BOTTLES 1&2/METAL CANS which are plastic bottles/jars #1&2 only, tin/steel cans, and aluminum cans are all acceptable into one container.
3. GLASS BOTTLES/JARS are still acceptable and are still separated by color (clear/brown/green).
PLASTIC BAGS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE IN THE RECYCLING CONTAINERS, PLEASE EMPTY ANY BAGGED MATERIAL AND TAKE THE BAGS BACK HOME WITH YOU (only exception is for shredded office paper, please put your shredded office paper in a clear bag).

Thank you for your recycling participation. We will release updates as new sites begin to open.

Recycling is still shut down until further notice.

The Lycoming County Landfill and Transfer Station is not currently accepting or processing recycling. Any recycling containers that are out on Thursday, March 26th, will be hauled as regular garbage. If you wish to hold your container until April 30th, you may do so. We are hoping these issues will be resolved by then. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
