Well the warmer temps seems to have gone. It's refreshing to have cooler days and nights. A special thanks to all the visitors who have taken the time to like the Water Valley website!

It is getting very green here in the valley. But we know with March anything could happen yet weather wise. And one thing we know for sure is any sleet or snow or very cold temps will not last long. Which reminds me the day that my Memaw Baker was buried of the Theta Community. Her name was "Lilly Snow" and I will always believe is that she was buried on much like the day that she was born. The road were covered with ice and there was some snow on the ground with very frigid temperatures. The following day, the temps were up in sixties with the sun shining.
Also once a great niece of mine of was spending her spring break with us and we awoke to a crushing noise. The night before, it had sleeted and snowed. A tree in our yard split down the middle allowing a huge branch to fall on the end of our house ripping the weather head off of house taking away all of our electricity. Also this huge branch fell down on both of our vehicles and did a lot of damage to them. So once again, we had some awful weather in the spring lasting for a few days.
I have enjoyed the mild winter and I guess we will just have to wait and see what will come next until we are very late into spring.

Thanks to all the people who have visited the Water Valley website recently. It seems we have skipped fall and gone almost into winter like days recently. Doesn't look like I'm going to find any pretty scenic views to make pictures of. Once again, thanks for your visits. And I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering with their families.
